Summary
For their new office suite, Sunrise Technologies chose to renovate a portion of an existing interior historic building in the heart of the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem. The design program was to reflect a technology company focused on employee collaboration, attraction and retention through creation of a fun and exciting work environment. The entry and welcoming element offers an opportunity for company branding in the space, as well as an historic timeline and company information display. The space focuses on a balance between creative interaction / open office areas and available privacy for its employees through various enclosed meeting and huddle rooms. The final design is approximately 8,800 sf in area, on the main level of the 525 @ Vine building in the Innovation Quarter.
